We'll come to you, and build you your own temporary circuit!
When your local track just isn't quite what you need, but you still want to put on a fun day for your staff and clients, then - if your building has its own car park - it may be possible to construct a temporary circuit so you can host your very own race event. With the right help, many office or factory car parks can be converted to a kart track to give everyone a real thrill. Call us or email email@example.com
Case Study - Sophos
A high-tech software company that wanted its car park converted for the day into an exciting kart track.
The circuit was largely constructed the day before but allowing for cars to get in and out and on race day we ran a series of short endurance races culminating in a grand final.
The Sophos staff were able to continue working throughout the day and were simply e-mailed when it was their turn to race.
Case Study - Bewl Water
'We'd like an AOB converted into a race track. For 120 people. And we need it in two weeks' No pressure then!
After an initial site visit we all agreed on what turned out to be a great circuit and in order to fit everything in we ran two 90-minute events.
Asphalt repairs were carried out, a scaffold bridge erected so that drivers could access the track during the race and the team went to work constructing a track that brought smiles to everyone's face.
Case Study - J2, Cannock
For us a clean sheet of paper.
To launch its latest out-of-town storage facility we were asked to build something in a completely empty car park. Nothing too complicated, just something that would give the clients a days to remember plus a bit of glamour from the delightful girls from Envisage, who were a great help on the day.
Case Study - Sky TV
A fairly ambitious idea to simulate a Formula 1 season over the course of a weekend involving as many of the staff as possible.
Despite the size of the Sky Campus the actual amount of useable asphalt was limited but we put together a plan with a track layout and concept for running 21 races back-to-back racing 640 staff members.
Huge logistical problems to overcome getting the right staff in the right karts at the right time on the right day but nothing that the team couldn’t manage. Formula 1-style branding for the karts, pit stops just like the real thing and two full on days of karting fun.
Case Study – Sophos (for a third visit)
A regular client, Sophos, asked us back to convert their car park for a day’s event. Local companies were sourced to supply tyres as part of the barrier system, and marshals from a nearby kart track.
Due to demand there were 180 drivers to be accommodated so we ran a series of short team events throughout the day, culminating in a couple of semi-finals and a final – all wrapped up by 5.30pm!
Perfect weather, perfect setting and a great day’s racing.
