Do I need a license?
No. Arrive-and-drive championships are for anyone to take part in; you do not need a racing license.

What about insurance?
All drivers competing in a series have to register with the competition organisers and additionally we can recommend a specialist broker who will provide you with sufficient cover for your racing activities.

Do I need to buy a crash helmet?
No. Helmets, race suits and gloves can all be hired from us on the day, but of course if you do wish to buy your own then you should call us first as we will advise you on the best choice and we can sometimes provide discount on racing equipment.

This will vary depending upon which competition you enter. Some drivers will have lots of experience but with practice you should be able to reach the top step of the podium!

Club100, who are responsible for most types of racing compatition, hold several test days throughout the year and can be booked through uk go karting. Alternatively many go kart tracks are pleased to offer training sessions.

And finally the most often asked question…
